"The Free Citizens Party" (Strana svobodných občanů or „Svobodní“ - "The Free") was founded by citizens of the Czech Republic who wish to live in a free country with a small government which does not interfere excessively in their lives. For us the principle of sovereignty is the fundamental pre-requisite of genuine democracy and freedom. We stand for the principles of FREEDOM, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND JUSTICE. The immediate reason for founding the Party was the absence in Czech politics of a party which would represent and defend these values. The Free Citizens is led by Petr Mach , a 35-year-old economist.
